Tungsten wire is the material that we use to weave like wire mesh as tungsten wire heater, and combine with tungsten plate to make the set of tungsten wire heater for sapphire growth furnace. There are two types of tungsten wire heater, one is made of tungsten wire wholly and one is made of tungsten wire and tungsten plate.

Tungsten Electrode Screen

Tungsten electrode screen is used with molybdenum parts, and plays an important role in sapphire crystal growth furnace.

Tungsten electrode screen and molybdenum electrode screen are all made by the material of tungsten or molybdenum with purity over 99.95%. The properties of tungsten electrode screen and molybdneum electrode screen are high temperature resistance, lower thermal expansion.


Tungsten electrode screen is with density of 18.3g/cm3 when it is sintered, and will be 19.2g/cm3 when it is swaged. The application and effection of sintered tungsten electrode screen is the same with swaged tungsten electrode screen.

Tungsten Heat Shield

Tungsten heat shield is also known as tungsten heat shield sheet, and is to keep the temperature inside tungsten crucible and prevent outside people from hurt. Tungsten heat shield is made of tungsten sheet wigh purity over 99.95%. Tungsten sheet is very large and its surface is bright or alkaline cleaned.

The production process of tungsten heat shield in the sapphire growth furnaces is using tungsten powder by hydrostatic compaction and sintered at high temperature to prepare ungrounded tungsten plate. Besides using in sapphire growth furnace, tungsten sheet can also used in vacuum parts of the electric light, and vacuum coating containers.

Tungsten Bracket

Tungsten bracket is also called tungsten support for the set products of tugnsten crucible. The shape of tungsten bracket is always round with hole in the middle. The purity of tungsten bracket is over 99.95%, and its density is about 18.2g/cm3, which can be the same as tungsten crucible and tungsten crucible cover.

Tungsten crucible connected with tungsten bracket and tungsten crucible cover is a set of products in the middle of sapphire growth furnace. All these products are sintered and smoothed. Tungsten crucible cover and tungsten bracket can also be polished, which is showing the bright and smooth surface.
