High purity tungsten granule refers to highly pure tungsten-based flux. Metal tungsten is processed into fine particles, particle size 20-40 mesh with high purity of 99.99%. It mainly applied in the high-frequency infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer and the results are very stable. Currently combustion method to measure the carbon and sulfur, many factors affect the stability of the analysis results. Tungsten Granule

Tungsten Accelerator

Tungsten accelerator is a kind of flux made of tungsten, by using burning method to test carbon and sulfur contents. During testing, the accelerator will increase its oxidization degree, and provide sample enough heat, make the burning stable. Meanwhile, it will cover the sample and prevent sample from splashing. The using quantity of accelerator should be proper, so that the CS releasing rate and testing value can be improved.

Tungsten Flux

Tungsten flux, also known as tungsten granule, is the processing of tungsten metal into small particles, particle size 20-40 mesh, high purity above 99.95%, so it also called pure tungsten flux. High purity tungsten particles flux is also essential in the analysis of the infrared carbon and sulfur reagents. Tungsten flux has the function of heating, regulating medium pH, mixing, catalyzing, combustion stability, anti-jamming. Raw materials are billet and tungsten powder. Generally tungsten bar is used in the production of tungsten wire. Tungsten flux is better made of FW-1 tungsten powder, its carbon and sulfur blank value is low with less volatile compounds, but the price is high.
Tungsten flux is mainly applied to analyze combustible in infrared carbon and sulfur analyzer, and the machine is also called CS analyzer, C&S analyzer. With its property of high density, tungsten granule can be oxidized under high temperature, and emits heat, which will show its high heat and quick response. It helps reduce the melting point of the combustible to promote the release of carbon and sulfur. It also used as carbon and sulphur fluxing agent during steelmaking.

Tungsten Electrode Holder

Tungsten electrode holder is also known as tungsten needle holder, tungsten rod clips, clamps, gun holder, tungsten clip, and clamp. During welding, it can clamp electrode to avoid falling. Electrode holder is composed of into the clamp and a jacket. Clamp is copper material, while the jacket is a plastic material, the two may be used in combination.

Generally speaking, the electrode is used in a jacket, flow guide or copper head. Specifications need to match with specifications of electrodes. Conventional electrode sizes are Ø1.6mm, Ø2.4mm and Ø3.2mm, so the size of the tungsten electrode holder may also be given in accordance with the diameter of these specifications. Special specifications are Ø4.0mm, Ø6.0mm, Ø8.0mm and so on.

GTAW Welding

The full name of GTAW welding is Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, also call inert gas argon arc welding, namely TIG.

The electrode of GTAW is tungsten electrode or tungsten alloy, because tungsten has the highest melting point of all metal, approximately 6170℉ (3410 ℃). Tungsten and tungsten alloy electrode technical requirements established by the American Welding Society includes eight standard tungsten. Tungsten has two supply states, chemical cleaning or polishing state. Chemical cleaning refers to the state that the tungsten has been drown or forged by chemically clean. Polishing means a kind of tungsten that has a uniform diameter and smooth surface after grinding. Tungsten surface of polished state is very smoothing with perfectly cylindrical, and therefore it can be more stably to delivery heat to tungsten clip. The range of tungsten diameter is 0.20 ~ 0.25in (0.5 ~ 6.4mm), length is 3 ~ 24in (76 ~ 610mm).

TIG Welding

The whole name of TIG is Tungsten Inert Gas Welding. It is a kind of welding which use pure tungsten or rare earth tungsten alloy as an electrode, and the protective gas is inactive gas.

Selection of tungsten electrodes of TIG welding is wide, such as pure tungsten electrodes, thorium tungsten electrodes, cerium tungsten electrode, lanthanum tungsten electrode, yttrium tungsten electrode, composite electrode (Triad electrode). Conventional diameter containing Ø1.6mm, Ø2.4mm and Ø3.2mm, but the length is 150mm or 175 mm. Its international standard is ISO6848. The function of tungsten electrode is to conduct current, arc ignition and maintain the normal combustion, thus requiring a larger tungsten available current, high melting point, less wear and tear, and other good features.

Non-consumable Tungsten Electrode

Non-consumable tungsten electrode refers to rare earth tungsten electrode and tungsten electrodes, such as pure tungsten electrodes, thorium tungsten electrodes, cerium tungsten electrode, lanthanum tungsten electrode, yttrium tungsten electrode, composite electrode (Triad electrode). Non-MIG arc is that arc burn between non-consumable electrode (usually tungsten) and the workpiece, a inactive gas would flow around the welding arc which would not react with metal, and then it would form a protective hood, so that tungsten pole end, arc and weld pool and the metal which is already under a high temperature condition that would not contact with the air, preventing oxidation and the absorption of harmful gases. Thereby forming a compact welded joint whose mechanical performance is very good.
