Tungsten filament is a product of pure tungsten wire or dropped tungsten wire after finishing, with tungsten powder was main raw material, potassium, aluminum, silicon and other chemical elements as additives. Its purity is as high as 99.95%. 

According to the number of tungsten wire strands, tungsten filament can be divided into products made of single-strand tungsten wire and products made of multi-strand tungsten wire. When it is wound from a single strand of tungsten wire, the diameter of the tungsten wire is generally 0.2mm~2.0mm; when it is wound from multiple strands of tungsten wire, the diameter of the tungsten wire is generally 0.2mm~1.3mm, and the most commonly used number of strands is 2 strands and 3 strands. The characteristics of the filament made of tungsten metal include metallic luster, silvery white or off-white appearance, clean surface, non-radioactive, high melting point, low vapor pressure, low evaporation rate, small thermal expansion coefficient, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, etc.

It can be used for electric vacuum and evaporation of electronic components because it is a resistance heating body for surface metal vapor deposition, and acts as a high-temperature heating element after being energized and heated.
